Serves as base for roof attachments such as bicycle holder, ski and luggage box, ski and snowboard holder, kayak holder. Easy to fit using a tensioning lever. The roof load of the vehicle must be observed. 2 black plastic-coated aluminum cross bars held to the roof by uniquely constructed caliper-action mounting stanchions. Carrier bars are specified as front and rear. Built in cylinder locks mounted into the full length and stanchion cover. Carrier Bars are required as mounting base for all roof attachments. The maximum permissible load is 165 lbs/75 kg, evenly distributed.
